Mamonaku was shot in the subway system of Tokyo, Japan.
mamonaku 間もなく (without a moment’s passing) acknowledges the time spent in the liminality of transit — in between places — and suspended arrival. It is trying to visualize the abstract nature of this ‘non-time’ and ‘non-space’.
